The government has approved widening paying ward facilities at state hospitals around the country to facilitate both locals and foreigners.
The proposal was presented by Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and a similar proposal was presented in parliament during the 2023 budget proposal presented by the President.
It is said that the government has already provided ‘Agrahara’ health insurance coverage for public sector employees and retirees.
