GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Officially Launches Sri Lanka Conference, Summit & Awards 2026

GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific (GHAPAC), a leading healthcare platform in the Asia-Pacific region, today formally announced the Sri Lanka GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Conference, Summit & Awards 2026 at a press conference held at ITC Ratnadipa, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Colombo.

The announcement officially confirms that the Sri Lanka Conference, Summit & Awards will be held on the 19thand the 20th of May 2026 at ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo, marking GHAPAC’s first dedicated healthcare awards and knowledge platform in Sri Lanka.

The press conference underscored GHAPAC’s commitment to recognising clinical excellence, leadership and innovation within Sri Lanka’s rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem, while positioning the country more prominently on the global healthcare and medical tourism map.

Founded in 2011, GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific is an established healthcare platform with a strong footprint in the global healthcare industry. Known for convening healthcare leaders, policymakers, providers and innovators, GHAPAC has built a reputation for organising high-impact conferences and awards across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Its initiatives focus on fostering knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships and cross-border collaboration, while recognising excellence in patient care and healthcare delivery.

In addition to the awards gala, the two-day programme will feature a conference and summit focused on healthcare standards, innovation, patient safety and future-ready healthcare systems, by highly acclaimed speakers and presenters of the healthcare industry in the region.

The press conference was attended by healthcare leaders, representatives from hospitals and wellness centres, past GHAPAC award winners and key stakeholders from across the sector. Attendees were also introduced to Dr Ravi Shrestha, Strategic Advisor to GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific, Dr. Rohantha Athukorala, the Franchise Partner in Sri Lanka, and Mr.Niiru Baran the Managing Director of Omni-Health.
