Dreamron, one of Sri Lanka’s leading company in the cosmetics and beauty industry, has extended its support to individuals and communities whose homes, businesses, and livelihoods were severely affected by the recent natural disasters. This initiative was conceptualized and launched under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Priyanka Perera, Chairman and Ms Nisha Perera, Directress of the Dreamron Group of Companies, as part of the company’s long standing commitment to social responsibility.
The primary objective of this initiative is to assist in the reconstruction and revitalization of damaged or destroyed businesses, while also providing essential daily necessities to those in need. As a first step, Dreamron has begun offering financial assistance to help rebuild businesses within the cosmetics sector, with a special focus on beauty salons that suffered losses.
As a meaningful act of corporate responsibility, Dreamron staff members voluntarily chose to forgo their annual get-together and instead channel the allocated funds to support communities affected by the disaster during this challenging period. The leadership team including the Chairman, Directress, and senior managers personally participated in the CSR project, demonstrating the company’s genuine care and hands on involvement in supporting affected communities.
The “Helping Hand to Rebuild Your World” project commenced on 5th December in Kaduwela, Nawagamuwa, Ambathale, Biyagama and is expected to expand to other regions across the island in the coming weeks.
Dr. Priyanka Perera, Chairman of the Dreamron Group, emphasized “that salon owners and beauty professionals are the backbone of the industry, and when they face hardship, the entire sector feels the impact. He affirmed that Dreamron stands with them not just as a brand but as a true partner, supporting their journey to rebuild and regain stability. He added that this initiative is more than a CSR effort it is a promise that even in the toughest times, Dreamron will never forget the people who have shaped its success for over 25 years.”
