People\u2019s Micro – commerce Ltd. (PML) has been awarded the Gold Award in the Microfinance Sector at the prestigious Best Management Practices Company Awards 2026 (BMPC Awards), organized by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
Held for the fifth consecutive year, the BMPC Awards recognize outstanding public and private sector organizations for excellence in management practices. The awards evaluate performance across critical dimensions such as leadership, strategy, people management, partnerships and resources, processes and performance outcomes providing a structured framework for organizations to benchmark and continuously improve.<\/p>\n

The award acknowledges PML\u2019s focus on embedding core microfinance principles such as customer protection, responsible lending, financial inclusion, ethical recovery practices, transparency and client centric product design ensuring sustainable and socially responsible growth.<\/p>\n
