Tech Cargo Hub (TCH), Sri Lanka\u2019s leading digital warehousing and logistics solutions provider, hosted a high-impact industry conference on the 12th of July, to unveil its newest venture; TCH 2, a 20,000 sq. ft. smart warehouse designed to power the future of logistics in the region.<\/p>\n
Held at TCH 1, the event brought together industry leaders from freight forwarding, retail, and supply chain tech to discuss a shared challenge: how to digitalize warehousing in a market long reliant on manual processes.<\/p>\n
TCH, already known for launching Sri Lanka\u2019s fully digital warehouse (TCH 1), is now doubling down on its mission. With the launch of TCH 2, the company expands its offering to include ASN-based planning, SKU-level tracking, CargoWise-integrated operations, Intelligence dashboards, and end-to-end inventory visibility.<\/p>\n
“Digitisation gives us the tools to make an immediate impact, even in small ways,” said Ikraam Reyaz, CEO of SFL Tech \u2014 the technology service provider and advisor for TCH \u2014 during his keynote. “More importantly, we\u2019ve seen how those small changes can scale.”<\/p>\n
TCH\u2019s leadership team; including General Manager Fawaaz Jishty, Head of Projects Umar Haroon, and Business Development Lead Husni Uwise, delivered a deep dive into the company\u2019s operational model. They highlighted how TCH simplifies backend complexity for logistics partners by offering true plug-and-play warehousing: digitised inventory control, real-time tracking, cross-docking, pick & pack services, and live analytics, all under one roof.<\/p>\n
The event then moved into a high-impact panel discussion, kicking off with a clear message: digitalisation isn\u2019t just an upgrade, it\u2019s now a driver of competitiveness \u2014 strengthening Sri Lanka\u2019s economic backbone and cementing its role in the global supply chain.<\/p>\n

Sanjaya Samarasinghe spoke to the gaps in data readiness: “AI and automation only work if the foundation is strong. Without structured data, tech can\u2019t deliver.”
\nAnd Sajid Suhile closed with a practical note on scale: “You don\u2019t need to build it all yourself. With partners like TCH and platforms like Daraz, sellers can scale without chaos.”<\/p>\n
The conference concluded with a live Q&A session and a networking lunch, giving attendees the opportunity to explore TCH\u2019s offerings firsthand and engage directly with the leadership team.<\/p>\n
