{"id":2518,"date":"2024-12-23T11:06:58","date_gmt":"2024-12-23T05:36:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ceylontribune.com\/?p=2518"},"modified":"2024-12-23T11:07:56","modified_gmt":"2024-12-23T05:37:56","slug":"three-more-arrested-in-connection-with-meegoda-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ceylontribune.com\/?p=2518","title":{"rendered":"Three more arrested in connection with Meegoda shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three additional suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting and killing of a man traveling in a car at Nagahawatte in Meegoda on December 14, according to the Police Media Division.<\/p>\n<p>The arrests were made last evening (22) in the Homagama and Meegoda police divisions. The suspects, aged 22, 26, and 38, are residents of Padukka and Meegoda.<\/p>\n<p>Investigations into the shooting are being carried out by the Meegoda Police Station and Western Province South Crime Division.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on December 19, police arrested two suspects\u2014a primary participant in the crime and an accomplice\u2014following their investigation.
