While global efforts exist to improve their lives, Saudi Arabia stands out as a beacon of compassion, showcasing unparalleled dedication to their welfare.<\/p>\n
For decades, Saudi Arabia has been at the forefront of surgical interventions to separate conjoined twins, welcoming families from around the world. These patients are flown to Saudi Arabia on special arrangements, where they undergo life-changing surgeries performed by world-renowned medical experts in state-of-the-art facilities. This extraordinary program is led by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabiah, a distinguished medical professional and humanitarian. Under his leadership, Saudi Arabia has become a global pioneer in conjoined twin separation surgeries, a testament to the nation\u2019s commitment to humanity.<\/p>\n
Saudi Arabia\u2019s unparalleled contributions in this field are marked by a legacy of over 30 years of continuous service. This landmark event, held under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will bring together leading medical professionals and scholars from across the globe. The government assumes full responsibility for all expenses related to the transportation, accommodation, and medical care of conjoined twins and their families. In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, some separated twins and their families were invited to perform Hajj in 2024 under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques\u2019 free Hajj program. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to expand its global footprint, delivering vital services across the world. For example, in Sri Lanka, the center recently provided medical care to over 4,500 patients, distributed 600 prescription glasses, and conducted more than 500 eye surgeries, benefitting people of all backgrounds and religions.
